At 13, Dash was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome and spent more than six weeks at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, including time in the PICU. Through intensive rehab and music therapy, he worked his way back to strength and independence. Now, in his senior year, he’s back to baseball and football, driven by his athlete’s mindset. When he’s off the field, Dash enjoys video games, music, biking, and hanging out with friends.
