Mira was diagnosed at a young age with a rare kidney condition that led to kidney failure. After 18 months of dialysis, she received a transplant at age 6. Now, nearly eight years later, thanks to her UCSF care team, she’s dancing, competing in gymnastics, and staying active. She loves swimming, spending time with friends, and making the most of every day.
