The holidays are a tough time to have a loved one in the hospital, especially when that loved one is a child. You can add some sparkle to the season by supporting Project Cheer!
Every year we host a holiday store for parents to pick out presents for our patients and their siblings at no cost, meaning the family has one less worry while their child heals.
There are three ways to be a part of the magic of Project Cheer this year:
Project Cheer Virtual Toy Drive
Make an online donation or start your own crowdfunding page to share with your network. Get your friends and family in the giving mood and see how much good you can do!
These funds will allow our caregivers to purchase toys for children who are celebrating the holidays away from the comfort of home. Our goal this year is $50,000 and 50 crowdfunding pages, and you can help us get there! Donate or start your own fundraising page here.
Collect Toys to Deliver Joy
Support our kids by adding a few extra goodies to your gift list or go big and host a toy drive! You’ll put presents directly in the hands of patients and inspire others to spread joy.
We are hosting a special Project Cheer drop off day on December 9, 1-3 PM. Drop off toys on either side of the Bay:
Oakland: Corner of 52nd Street and Dover Street, Oakland, CA 94609 - Turn into the driveway off of 52nd Street to access the drop-off area.
San Francisco: 1975 4th St, San Francisco, CA 94158 - The drop-off zone is located in the circular driveway in front of the Children's entrance off 4th Street.

Our Amazon Wish Lists are carefully curated by staff to include items that are in high demand and that meet the special needs of kids who are celebrating the holidays in the hospital. These are shipped straight to the hospital, making it one of our easiest options! Shop the wish lists here.
