Founded in December 2014, the Ambassadors for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco is a diverse group of volunteers who share a deep love and concern for children. Through philanthropy, volunteerism, and community outreach, our goal is to ensure that the needs of children and their families are provided for during their time at the hospital.
How You Can Make an Impact
Attend Events – Our annual Fall Gala, the Miracle on 4th Street holiday party, and Educational Luncheons are great ways to get involved. Learn more about our upcoming Fall Gala.
Volunteer – Join us at Ambassadors-hosted events at the children’s hospital. Previous events have included the annual Teen Prom, Mother’s Day lunch, and a football kickoff party.
Tour the New UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco in Mission Bay – Tours are offered on the first and third Friday of every month at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon. Please email email@example.com to reserve a spot.
How to Join the Ambassadors
Membership requires an annual donation to the children’s hospital’s Ambassadors Fund in an amount that is significant for you. The Ambassadors Fund supports patients and their families with crucial services that are not covered by medical insurance including family support programs, child life specialists, creative arts, bereavement care, and social services.
