Join us as UCSF highlights the voices of women in research, patient care, education, and public policy at the 2021 Women in Health Care and Science Symposium. The event will begin with a conversation between Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo, PhD ’94, MD ’99, MAS ’04 and former US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director Julie Gerberding, MD, MPH, Resident Alum, now executive vice president and chief patient officer at Merck.

Dr. Dayna Long, Pediatrician and Director of Community Health and Engagement at BCH Oakland, and Nicki Bush, PhD, Director, UCSF Division of Developmental Medicine are among the pediatric specialists on the panel.

Other talks will focus on the strength of UCSF’s community partnerships, strategies for building and sustaining women’s careers after COVID-19, and the importance of mindfulness in our everyday lives.
