The Junior Ambassadors for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco was established in 2018 to provide youth (ages 14-21) a program to support the hospital because of their interest in medicine, social work, philanthropy, community outreach and volunteerism. Junior Ambassadors are committed to contributing their time and effort in ways that support patients and their families during their time at the hospital.
There are two ways to join the Junior Ambassadors:
- Individual - sign up as an individual Junior Ambassador
- School Club - create a “Junior Ambassador for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Club” through your school, and work together with peers. Please share this letter with the club advisor for additional information.
Your contribution as a Junior Ambassador:
Fundraise – Create and execute a fundraising event, large or small. These funds go directly to the hospital to support programs for patients and families
Support – Select from numerous activities to support the patients through many already established programs, including making entertaining bedside activity kits or making cards for Valentine’s Day.
Volunteer – Volunteer at annual UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital fundraising events. These events are held at diverse venues, including the hospital
