Alanis sings an acoustic set at Notes & Words

Wow. Just wow. Between Alanis Morissette's alt-rock acoustics, James McBride's dry wit, Tulani's epic performance, Leila Motley's unflinching prose, Yoyoka's prodigious drumbeats, and an unforgettable finale – the 14th annual Notes & Words was truly a magical evening in support of patient care at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals.

What's even more satisfying is knowing that these amazing artists – and everyone in the audience – came together for our young patients. Your generosity fuels cutting-edge care for children like HT, the remarkable four-year-old boy featured during the show. Born on a remote Navajo Nation reservation with a rare and deadly condition, his family now has new reason to hope thanks to a life-saving gene therapy pioneered at UCSF.

Thank you for celebrating with us at the 14th Annual Notes & Words and helping us dream big for all kids!
